I emailed Nana at CB today to inquire if they eventually got confirmation from the co-ordinator in Kazahkstan that our dossier has been received and she emailed back that our dossier was received yesterday as confirmed by the co-ordinator and fed-ex tracking system. she added that he will be taking our dossier to Astana today to hand to the Karaganda co-ordinator so the ball is in motion. from there it is handed to the ministy of foreign affairs then to the ministry of education and then the director of the Baby house. So start counting 3-4 months. YEH!!!!!!!
I can finally breath that something is happening and there is a happy event on it's way....

Hi there. Just found your BLOG. Congratulations on your upcoming journey to your second child. We are in Toronto and have 2 kiddies. Our daughter (bio) is almost 9 and our son - almost 4 is from Almaty Region, Kazakhstan. We brought him home in June 2006.
The international adoption journey is hard, it is uncertain and knows no schedule (only its own!) But it is so worth it. I still after almost 3 years of knowing him, look at my son and thank the man above.
He really is a gift,he is a happy, healthy, bouncing, energetic little almost 4 year old and a gift.
