Finally sent to the Kazakhstan Consulat

Hi Everyone.

Finally our file has been sent to the Kazahstan Consulat to be authenticated & from there it will be sent to Kazakhstan. We were told that it can take from 2-4 weeks at the consulat & then 3-4 weeks per agencies x 3 in Kazakhstan so it's been their experience that it will be approx 4 months before we get a letter of invitation.

With that being said, there are a few factors that can come in to play to either speed up or slow down the process. As we are of the first batch that are sent to the city of Karaganda the 4 months waiting period could be longer or shorter than what they expereienced with the city of Almaty. Also, we are requesting a girl instead of a no gender preference, so our letter of invitation will depend on the availability of the girls they have that falls into our requirements. We asked that she be born between July 2005 to Jan 2008. So we will see.

With those timelines, we are lokking at spending my birthday & Christmas in Kazakhstan with our new daughter.
