Well, looks like we are not going to travel to Kazakhstan until spring-summer 2009. Anjali has been working really hard on trying to get a meeting with the Consulat however there has been some unforseen circomstances that have delayed this and now Anjali is going to Nepal on behalf of the Children's Bridge from Oct 29 to Nov 10 so nothing will happen before she returns.
If the meeting takes place, there is nothing to prove that it will turn out to be favourable. If it is, our files could be forwarded to kaz before Jan 2009, if not, then it will be Jan 2009. In any case, if is just a few months away so we can wait. My concerns is as I mentionned it before, that our file will remain here as it will need to be updated starting December & we will one again fall behind others.
I was assured by Nana that this would not occur. We will see. Don't get me wrong, I really like Nana & Anjali however they can't promess things that are out of their hands. If the decision of the Consulat is not favourable, I asked Nana & Anjali to pull our dossier out & to put all our new information on it & to have it to be the fist dossier to go to the Consulat once he accepts new dossiers. We will see how everything will play, I have confidence in them.
On a happy note, that way we will get to go in the spring. I am assuming May-July 2009 could be later. I am not holding my breath for before that. That's for sure. That way, no winter gears to carry with us, so a much lighter load if you see what I mean. Capris & shorts, sandals, tank tops & t-shirts instead of snow suit,toques, mitts, boots, pants,sweather......On the other hand, Josh will be missing the end of the school year. I already spoke with his teacher & we will see if he can do his homework on line or via email. I told him in the meantime to work really hard at getting ahead so he wont fall too far behind.
We are getting ready for Halloween. Josh & I are going to decorate the front yard today today. Can't wait.
